Description: Residential crisis intervention (safety, care and treatment for drug users in life threatening danger), primary healthcare and assessment, detoxification, one to one support sessions, group work programme, complementary therapies, individual care plan and discharge planning. Residential crisis admissions can stay up to 21 days. Also planned inpatient detoxification (max. 11 day stay). Telephone helpline (number above) run by trained staff offering advice, support and information about admission.
Charges for Service:
Times Available: Helpline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Specific User & Carer Involvement: Specific groups in the programme - "Your feedback"
Specific special needs or gender based services: Crisis Intervention
Referral routes into services: Self referral (can be with Agency support)
Referral routes out of services: Involvement of Care Managers in identifying further needs, possible treatment and funding. Back into community services, residential rehabilitation, day services, day programmes etc.
Clients eligible for service including age range: 18 +, unemployed, resident in London. Clients in crisis. Clients in crisis as a result of their drug use.
Exclusions to Service: Women who are pregnant and using opiates, alcohol or benzodiazepines. Those who only use marijuana, solvents, LSD and/or ecstasy.

Languages available: English, can arrange for interpreter.
