Domiciliary care
As a 'Specialist' provider regulated by the 'Care Quality Commission' (CQC). Mushkil Aasaan offers packages of Care that transcend detailed knowledge of the Community's faiths, values, customs, language and dietary needs beyond that of their basic needs.
In adhering to the National Care Standards Mushkil Aasaan provides:
- User Focused and Responsive Service: A comprehensive assessment of needs is carried out allowing service user's to make informed decisions. A Careplan is drawn out to meet specific care needs recording their wishes and preferences.
- Personal care Service: Service users receive a flexible, consistent & reliable service. Service users are treated with respect and their right to privacy is upheld. Care Staff support service users maintain independence taking account of religious, cultural and linguistic needs.
- Promote the safety and well-being of the Service user: Risk Assessments are undertaken on all Service users and there are clear protocols to protet service users form abuse, neglect and self-harm.

Counselling / Advocacy / Casework

Advocacy: In accessing Community Care Services for the Elderly, Families and Children, District Nursing, General Practitioners, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Housing, Legal and Immigration, Welfare Rights, Training and Employment in partnership with the Voluntary Sector.

Counselling: Professional support to explore, enhance, and promote the inner strengths and resources of the individual towards a greater well-being.

Mediation/Conciliation: For families experiencing stress and relationship difficulties.
Crisis Intervention: Practical support in countering domestic violence, family breakdown, homelessness, child protection, elder abuse, racial harassment and discrimination.
Ongoing Emotional Support: In coping with trauma and crises while promoting empowerment.
Welfare Rights: Bilingual advice and form filling.
Volunteering
- Escort/Transport: To Hospital Appointments, Court Proceedings, Housing, Shopping, DSS, Schools, Events
- Interpreting for Users: Joint Assessments, Case Conferences, Appointments with Professionals, Daily correspondence, bills, forms etc.
- Bereavement: Assisting with complex burial procedures while offering emotional and spiritual support
Self-Help Support Groups
- Mehfil: To help alleviate social isolation in the elderly.
- Parenting Support: Enhancing parenting skills in safeguarding the welfare of children
- Adolescent/Youth Support: Promoting a sense of belonging, personal development, recreational activities and careers advice.
